Is this a virus. Man I thought pnuemonia wa something only old people or young babies got - excuse my obvious ignorance.
Yes, it's a viral form of pneumonia. There can be bacterial strains, fungal strains, environmental causes, etc. Since I "caught" this from my friend, and now Caitlin has it, we can be fairly sure it's viral.
The good news is she isn't near as sick with it as I was. I think she will get better much quicker.
