Minutes after I posted about Caitlin's internship I got news from the ranch owner that the horse training internship has been canceled because she broke her neck. Un-fucking believable! That poor woman. I don't know how she broke her neck...she didn't divulge that information. I'm wondering if it was a horse related injury, although could have been a car accident as well. In any case I have to break the news to Caitlin...it will crush her. She was looking forward to this so much.
I'm hopeful that the lady running the program will mend soon and decide to offer the internship again next summer. Now I need to come up with something productive and fun for Caitlin to do this summer. Ideas anyone? Talk about life throwing curve balls...

Oh, I am sooo sorry. She will be so disappointed. But, life is full of such things...unfortunately. I guess you could inquire if Tim could use her help?? Just an idea.
That might not be a bad idea. They are still on that horse ranch in Colorado right? Will you talk to him?
Yes, they are south of Walsenburg, about 3 miles from town. I'll call him tonight.
