I couldn't come up with a cool name either. "Joe's Big Blog" yep, there's a winner.

lol. Mine is real original too, Atheist Homeschooler. heck a lot of my blog isn't even about homeschooling.

That being said, my first blogger id was look_an_atheist. I got bored with it real fast. Just didn't mean anything. So I asked my blogger readers for ideas on a name. I got some great advice that you could use here for your blog. It's at mine on a post called what's in a name.

*thinks*
you love hiking and exploring the great outdoors.
you are an atheist, gardener, wife, mom,...(insert other characteristics)

Maybe something like
"Hiking the Blogosphere" or
"My Life, My Hike" or
"Take a Hike" or
"Takin' a Hike"

*thinks, thinks*
Well that's all for now.

Good luck! :-D

Hmmm,

Coming up with a good name is really hard!

HA! Ben just called me "Mud Woman" lol...could that be a good blog title? I have been covered head to toe in mud lately...garden mud. Kids are so funny...

Hmmm

I use Happyhiker a lot as my handle in some forums. Maybe I should just go with "The Happy Hiker"...

heading for the hills,

The was a seventies erotica book called The Happy Hooker (don't ask me how I know that) so people searching for you might get surprised.

Google:

Did you mean: The happy Hooker

I like all your ideas Ewok...I love the have shoes will travel...and Hike Your Heart Out is good too...

But my blog encompasses more than hiking...there is some gardening thrown in, some family stuff, some foodie stuff, poetry, art, photography...I think we are getting closer to a good blog title though. :)Keep those ideas rolling girl!

Sean that is freaking hilarious. You are like the only person that I know of, whose made the connection between The Happy Hiker, and the Happy Hooker. When I chose that handle...HappyHiker...it was totally a play on words and a spoof on Happy Hooker. I'm so amused that you brought it up!

Btw, I knew about the book because I can remember seeing it on our bookshelf when I was a little kid and asking my mom what the title meant. I don't believe at the time I got an answer. The book was quickly swifted away. lol

Hmmm, I'm kinda liking the "Under a leaf with Ginny" a whole lot the more I think of it...

It has a nice ring. It could mean a lot of different things metaphorically speaking...such as a secret place(which is funny on a public blog), or it can mean exploration, or a cozy place...because believe me, being under a giant leaf with me would be cozy, not to mention fun...especially if it's raining...

I could even go get under a giant leaf(banana tree)in my back yard and have someone photograph me so I can use the photo in my heading...

I think we may have a winner!

I like that one- under a leaf... I was thinking about wandering ginny or something.

Under a Leaf with Ginny sounds good. So many meanings...

Normally, naming stuff is easy for me, but man do I have a serious case of brain sludge today!

I LOVE the new title of your blog!!!!! It absolutely is cozy and secret and yet suggests an adventure about to start...

Hey- one formatting issue. I've got a 17" widescreen monitor and run Internet Explorer with Windows Vista. (SHUT UP!!! It came preloaded on my lap top!!!) lol

When your website pulls up, your title is half cut off at the top.

Does anyone else have trouble viewing it?

Ginny said...

Yeah if anyone else is having issues, I'd like to know so I can look into it.

I'm hoping to do some sprucing up of my blog at some point...

Yes your title cuts off for me on both home and work pc. One is a 17inch the othe a 19. In this case size does not seem to matter.
