The Best Guacamole Ever!

My friend Jen made this yesterday while she was at my house and I must say it was the best damn guacamole I think I've ever eaten. Jen is an amazing cook and it's always so much fun when she comes over and we cook together or create some artwork.

I also ate this toasted marshmallow dipped in chocolate sauce. Nummy!

First off- you took time away from a luscious hot marshmallow to take a picture of it?????

And as for the guacamole
*sniffs dispondently*, well now you're just being mean. And I didn't expect that of you Ginny.

*sniffs again* Everyone knows how to make toasted marshmallows.

But bragging about the guacamole and not even telling us how to make it...

*stamps foot* I want the best damn guacamole ever eaten too!!!!!

Good grief, someone needs a timeout. Just ask politely for the recipe, you silly thing.

Oh, ahem... right.

Say- Ginny? Would you be so kind as to ask Jen if she would share with us, your blogger buddies, her recipe for the Ever So Wonderful Best Damn Guacamole Ever Eaten?

Thanks!

What are salmon nachos?

Is that an Aussie thing?

Should I be gagging here? Fishy nachos????

Well the bad thing about good cooks is we rarely measure anything or follow recipes. She just threw in this and that and it turned out great. Sorry...you're out of luck.

As for salmon nachos, Sean gave me the recipe for them and I haven't made them yet.

As for not eating that toasted marshmallow while it was hot...all for a good cause. :)

*sigh* dang. Guess I'll just have to enjoy the photo. BTW The marshmallow looks fantastic. Nicely toasted!

Salmon nachos... A very odd sounding flavor combination. Do let us know if they turn out well! :-)

Salmo Nacho's does obviously taste fishy. I will attempt to photograph it next time I make it. I will have to rely on store bought guacamole though.

Yippy, photos of food. I quite like them. Once I saw a documentary on how food is photographed. It was on years and years ago on public television or something and it was totally interesting.

My friend Thomas takes really great photos of food. Heh, some of them are somewhat repulsive to certain folks of the vegan variety lol. I have to admit, there are a couple that made me want to look away. But that's art! If it doesn't produce some kind of feeling in you, what's the point?

Anyway, I can't wait to see your lovely photos Sean. You must be a busy boy because you've not updated your blog in a while. Come on Aussie, get with the program! ;)

Any luck on getting your pretty wife to join in on the fun too? I am hoping she will grace us with her writing talents soon.

I second the motion by Ginny that She Who Sean Obeys join us as soon as possible. (Do we officially know her name yet, Sean, out here in Bloggerland?)
