The Latest Random Pics...Oh and Happy New Year!

Ben and Caitlin are about to roll out some cookie dough on this nicely floured surface

Ben shows us that his hands are clean and ready for working with food, and Caitlin is protesting me taking a picture of her because she hasn't been out of bed long and is worried about how she looks.

They rolled out choc chip cookie dough and cut out shapes. Please ignore my dirty stove! It's seen a lot of cooking lately.

This is some fruit salad I made for our potluck we had on New Year's Eve. It has pineapples, blueberries, apples, oranges, shredded coconut, sunflower seeds, walnuts, and a squeeze of lime juice. It was tasty but the next day it was amazing! So sweet!

This is the bruchetta I made...it didn't last long. I made a vegan version too.

Some other cookies we cut out and decorated.

Happy New Year... you must have not looked at your e mails maybe. On the coldest day Spirit and I rode the 200 miles round trip to Marble Falls passing by Austin... I had waited for your reply so we could meet to say "Hi"... Will be leaving for Houston (25 miles south of it, much acreage from a friend) saturday am... thinking about coming to Austin tomorrow (friday) and do some photgraphy... Have not even a clue yet what is in Austin... but it will be warm... Will keep an eye on the emails...
Be well... did I say it was a 'frozen ride'!!!

Hey I watched for an email from you but never saw one. I assumed you would call but that is okay. I'm not sure what my day is going to be like tomorrow. Give me a call though we'll see what we can work out. :)

Stay warm!

Ben is getting so big! What a sweet picture of him with clean hands! Hope you had a Happy New Year! I have just been spending ALL of my time trying to clean up the aftermath of the holidays! They're fun, but what a pain to clean up! Next year I'm asking for maid service to visit after the 1st!

I still need to take down my tree. I hate that part of the holidays...it's such a chore. But like you, I am trying to get my house back in order. My kitchen needs a very good scrub.
