I love Kiwi too, and Starfruit.
Careful ginny, lots of sugar. But yes they are nice.
Not a big fan of kiwi. There are so many wonderful fruits out there, but I think I am more of a savory person. If I do eat fruit, and spend the money, I would want a fresh pineapple, strawberries, blueberries, and bananas when they are still a bit green. For exotic fruits, I just don't know. I think I am always on the safe side with mangoes. Need to branch out more with flavors. Glad you are back blogging more!
I like grapes, apples, peaches, and berries too, but if they are not in season and just right and fresh, they are not so appealing.
Nothing beats a fresh, juicy peach right off the tree! We used to go to the peach farms on Sauvie Island up in Oregon. The first peach Ian ever tasted was straight off the tree and luscious! I'm all about strawberries too, so is the baby girl! Ian is a HUGE kiwi fan, glad they're not expensive.
We need to go to the berry farm when the strawberries and blackberries are in season. I did that with Ben this year and he loved it. The berries we picked were sweet and juicy.
Are they good with peanut butter?
Ummm I don't think kiwi and p.b. are a good combo.
I saw a link to your blog & had to check it out since we have the same name :) I love Kiwi but became allergic to it in high school :( I recently heard that eating it with the outer layer on it, is very good for you. I guess it is full of fiber. Not sure how it would taste though, lol.
Hi Ginny! Welcome to my small slice of blog world. Hope you enjoy your stay. :)
On the subject of kiwis, I doubt I could choke one down with the skin on...the texture of them is like sandpaper!
