It's slow going but there is progress

I'm now the lowest I've weighed in probably 9 years or so and still losing. It's ever so slow though because I'm not dieting. Typically I'll lose five or ten pounds, then gain them back and hold onto the weight a while, then I'll lose that weight again and some. What's that saying? Three Steps forward, one step back? I guess that pretty much describes it.

My wife lost 20+ kilos, lately its about 1 kilo evry 2 months.

She does 30 mintues cardio + 30 mintues light weights 6 times a week.

Keep going its worth it.

Three steps forward, one step back, but in a sustainable and healthy way is the best method, though.

Yeah, I know yo yo-ing isn't optimal, but I am still going in the right direction and my blood sugar, cholesterol, and blood pressure are all perfect.

I'm confident I'll have it all off within the next six months or so. I only need to lose about 30 more lbs.

The good thing is that by losing it so slowly I'm more likely to keep it all off in the long run, once it is all off. Ya know?

I've changed how I eat in the last 6 weeks or so after my wife got a chewing from her doctor. I watch the refined flour and sugar and drink 100 grams of protein a day. The protein seems to ward off the eating/grazing attacks that have set me back in the past. Never mind the "food is love" stuff. You're not alone in your struggle.

Oh food is still love in my book and my love affair with the stuff will last forever I'm sure. :)
