Diners Beware!

I've absolutely had it with restaurants in Austin! I have now gotten food poisoning twice in the past two weeks from eating out and am pretty pissed off about it. Do these restaurants not realize that they can kill people with bad food? It's inexcusable! If you can't serve fresh clean food you have absolutely no fucking business owning a restaurant. Needless to say I'm not going to eat out for a while.

Would you be willing to share the name of the heinous restaurants? I'd be grateful to know where to avoid, ESPECIALLY after dealing with two barfing kids last week! (Not that it was food related, but still!) Hope you're feeling better!

Ok but don't laugh. The first place was Hooters. I had a couple of friends invite me to dinner and by the time they were free to go, it was way past 10pm and that was the only place open in our area.

The other place was yesterday at El Arroyo downtown. We went there after Russell's graduation because all the other restaurants close to the convention center were packed. I knew El Arroyo wasn't the greatest food in town, but I didn't expect it to be damned near inedible!

Rearely do we find restaurant food better than we an cook ourselves. Hence we don't go out much.

Sorry to here about the food poisoning.

Hooters, hmm a car themed restaurant ;)

You're not going to believe this, but... I was eating with the TV gang last night at IHOP after the show. One of them casually mentioned that they have taken a vote and decided they are moving to a new venue starting next week. Guess where?

El Arroyo.

Unfortunately, I was unable to talk them out of it.
