What's for Dinner?

Howdy all. I am going to make a very simple casserole that my mom made for us when we were little. I'm sure you all know what it is...Tuna Casserole! See I don't cook gourmet all the time and I don't always tell you folks the ordinary stuff I make...but I thought what the heck...why not show the more simple stuff?

Tuna Casserole is comfort food for me and it's EASY to make.

You need:

Tuna, wide egg noodles, one can of cream of mushroom soup, onions, celery, salt and pepper to taste, grated cheddar cheese, thin potato chips.

Saute the onions and celery. Mix in the soup, tuna and some of the cheese. Meanwhile cook the egg noodles. When the noodles are done, add them to the mixture and stir. Turn into a casserole dish and top with a generous layer of potato chips and add more cheddar on top. Brown in the oven. Simple huh?

For you Mom

I LOVE tuna casserole. Brady won't eat it, but the kids like it. We make things like tuna casserole, meatloaf and sweet potatoes and stuff like that when Daddy's out of town!

We've never used chips or celery, but put green peas instead. Mmmmm!

I've put peas in it before but don't think Russell or Ben would like it much...so decided on celery. Oh and the chips make it so yummy...you should try that sometime!
