The ranch property butts up against the San Isabel National Forest. I'll be heading up the mountain outside of a tiny town called Aguilar. The river I mentioned is called the Apishipa. I'm hoping I can talk someone into a little backpacking trip while I'm there. I'm bringing all my gear just in case. And I look forward to doing a little fishing...haven't been able to do that in ages!

The fishing I like to do is where you drive to the Fish and Chip Shop.
I don't really enjoy sitting for half a day and not catching everything - that's why I generally call it waiting rather than fishing.

Just kidding, it can be frustrating sometimes, but I enjoy the nature none the less.
