It's a Start

I went for about a five mile walk today. It was easy without a 30 pound pack on my back and I did it in two hours. The only hard part was climbing back up the hill of life towards the end of my walk, but even that was entirely doable.

I think I'll walk at the Wild Basin Preserve next...lots of ups and downs on that one. Maybe I'll throw on a heavier pack for old times sake.

Glad you're feeling better. Kind of funny, but I just got off the phone with another SAHM friend and she has been battling the same funk as well (along with my friend in Minn.). So I am thinking this feeling of needing to have time and learning to know oneself again is a pretty universal thing with moms today. So I'm glad to hear that you did something nice for yourself today! I was supposed to have my night last night, but due to other circumstances, I am on hold until tomorrow. I think I may just hit the coffeeshop and continue with my new read, "The Agony and the Ecstacy" of all things! Tried reading it years ago and never could get past the first few chapters, we'll see if I succeed this time!
