Mockingbird

So as I mentioned in my previous post, there is a mockingbird that has been getting braver each day and has become part of the yard scene the past couple of weeks. Today as I was doing some gardening the bird followed me a little around the yard waiting for handouts of grubs and such.

I picked up Sugar's food bowl and was going to carry it in the house to refill, but instead I became distracted by something and walked around the side of the house. Before I knew it, the bird was flying a little above my shoulder as I walked, following me like a puppy begging for food. I was fairly amazed at first, but this isn't the first time a wild animal has taken a liking to me. Food is magic.
