To the outsider I'm always camping, but to me it's never enough. The destination this time is Fairfield lake. It will be a very easy trip and a good time to break in my new Asolo hiking boots. They are so cool.

Nice boots! Hope you have a good time. I'm getting ready for our Las Vegas/Red Rocks trip.

Camping, that's so out of character ;P
Make sure you wear those boots in a bit before or take your old ones just in case. New boots always give me blisters.
No worries mate, the hike into camp shouldn't be more than three or so miles and the hike out the next day will probably be about that or a little longer. And if all else fails, I do have mole skin and duct tape...
