Crushingly Heartbreaking

Steve Irwin is gone from our planet forever never to make fascinating and often beautiful documentaries again. I'm truly sadden by the loss of this man who has brought nature awareness to a huge new level world wide. He is to be recognized and commended for his efforts. My heart goes out to his family. The world has lost a truly great adventurer and behavioral expert.

I agree with you whole heartedly. He was a pioneer in conservation and bringing nature closer to people. Some of his methods might not have been agreeable to all, but he will be missed. A great loss and so young!

I can't begin to imagine what his wife and daughter must be going through. His son is so young. I wonder how it will impact him too.

I wonder if 'ol Stevo knew he was done for as he pulled that barb out of his chest. He knew he could die doing what he did, but I bet he never thought in a million years(just like the rest of the world)that it would be from a stingray. What are the odds?
